Who we are

ACTConnect Ltd is the data controller for personal data processed through this platform. This page is maintained by ACTConnect to explain how we handle your information. Contact us at privacy@actconnect.co.uk.

Data we collect

For ACTs: name, contact details, postcode, travel radius, hourly rate, employment status, qualifications, CV and certificate uploads, availability and biography. For pharmacies: business name, contact person, email, telephone, address, pharmacy type and shift details.

Why we process it

To create and verify profiles, match ACTs with suitable shifts, enable messaging and bookings, prevent fraud, and meet our legal obligations. Our lawful bases are contract performance, legitimate interests and, where required, your consent.

Sharing

ACT profile information is visible to registered pharmacies. Shift information is visible to registered ACTs. We use vetted processors for hosting, email and analytics, and never sell your data.

Retention

Profile data is kept while your account is active and for six years afterwards where required for financial and dispute-resolution purposes. Uploaded documents can be deleted at any time from your dashboard.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port and object to processing of your data, and to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. Requests are handled within one calendar month.
